We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer II to help expand our data engineering capabilities. In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute to the evolution of our data platform—building and improving the systems that power internal analytics and customer-facing intelligence. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure data is structured, secure, and ready to support our growth.
This is an opportunity to join a foundational team and build scalable pipelines, data platform capabilities, and infrastructure that enable trusted insights. Your work will support both operational reporting and product analytics, while contributing to a growing data function.

What You’ll Do:
Platform & Infrastructure
- Contribute to Data Platform Evolution – Help build and scale a robust, flexible platform that enables analytics and data-driven experiences across our products.
- Build Scalable Data Infrastructure – Develop reliable systems to ingest, transform, store, and serve data using batch and near real-time approaches.
- Deliver Trusted Data Pipelines – Build and maintain resilient, observable pipelines that connect APIs, databases, and event streams across internal and customer-facing use cases.
- Support Data Quality & Observability – Help advance practices in validation, monitoring, and governance to ensure high-quality and trustworthy data systems.
Enablement & Collaboration
- Partner Across Teams – Work closely with analytics, product, and engineering to ensure data pipelines are structured, governed, and optimized to support key use cases.
- Contribute to Shared Data Models – Collaborate on well-documented, maintainable data models that meet the needs of multiple teams and stakeholders.
Team & Technical Growth
- Mentor and Contribute to Engineering Culture – Share best practices, contribute to standards, and support a collaborative, high-quality data engineering discipline.
- Explore and Introduce New Tools – Help evaluate new technologies and contribute to the evolution of our platform as our needs grow.
What We’re Looking For:
- Data Engineering Experience – 5+ years of experience building data systems, including hands-on work with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and SQL performance tuning.
- Strong AWS Foundation – Familiarity with AWS services including Aurora, S3, Lambda, and Terraform. You know your way around the ecosystem and can apply these tools pragmatically.
- Modern Data Stack Familiarity – Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, and Redshift or Snowflake for transformation and orchestration.
- Code-First Data Engineering – Comfort writing pipelines and workflows in Python or similar languages. You see data engineering as software engineering.
- Focus on Security and Governance – Experience working with sensitive data, implementing role-based access control, and ensuring data privacy and auditability.
- Collaborative Approach – Ability to work closely with cross-functional partners and translate ambiguous problems into clear engineering solutions.
- Bonus Experience
- Experience supporting or building analytics platforms for end users or product-facing features.
- Exposure to streaming or real-time data pipelines.
- Familiarity with dbt for transformation logic and data modeling.
